HGM series three-ring medium speed micro-powder mill is designed basing on our 20 years’ manufacturing experience, absorbing the Swedish advanced machine manufacturing techniques. It is a new type of mill for making super fine powder through more than 20 times of test and improvement. It is the latest type of products in the world that combines Chinese and Swedish techniques and leads the world tide.

Usage:

HGM series three-ring medium speed micro-powder mill is designed to get fine and super fine powder. It is mainly used to process more than 200 kinds of non-inflammable, non-explosive and brittle materials with moh’s hardness below 6 scale, such as calcite, limestone, dolomite, kaolin, bentonite, mica, illite, pyrophyllite, barite, kinsite, fluorite, potassium ore, etc. When HGM mills are used to process materials with moh’s hardness between 4-6 scale, the service lifetime of easy-worn parts shall be shortened as the service lifetime of easy-worn parts relies on the hardness of raw material.

Working principle:

The main motor drives main shaft and every turnplate through reducer. The reducer drives dozens of rollers to rotate against race way of ring through pin. Small pieces crushed by hammer crusher are transported into hopper by elevator, and then vibrating feeder will feed materials to central part of upper turnplate evenly.
The materials are scattered around under centrifugal force and fall down to raceway of ring to be crushed into powder. After ground in the first race way, the materials go to the second and third turnplate.
The high pressure centrifugal blower sucks external air into the mill and carries the powder after third turnplate into classifier. Turbine in the classifier makes the coarse powder drop down for regrinding.

The finer powder shall go into cyclone powder collector together with air current and go down through discharge valve as final product; at the same time, air current with a little dust goes out through blower and noise reducer after purified by impulsed deduster.

Main characteristics of the mill:

1. High efficiency and low cost: Capacity is 40% higher compared with airflow mill and mix mill with the same material, same size of final product and same motor power.
2. Service lifetime of easy-worn parts is longer than that of vertical shaft impact crusher and turbine mill with same raw material, same size of final product. Usually, its service lifetime is longer than one year.
3. Three is no rolling bearing and screw in the grinding cavity, so the user doesn’t need to worry about tear of bearing and seals, and damage to equipment because of looseness of screws.
4. The fineness of powder of this mill can reach ≤5 um with d97 directly.
